Preparing for Halloween Party

My students are preparing for our first performance of the year which will be a Halloween Party. We will have a short, informal recital where students will come in costume to perform their pieces. The two books pictured above are my favorites for beginners, and the Halloween Treats book, Primer Level, is also a great book for siblings or students of different levels to work on together. The duets are fairly simple and the pieces are short, so a good reader can learn to play the duet parts quickly. The pieces in both of these books have nice melodies with cute lyrics and provide a great opportunity for students to learn to sing while playing.
