Around mid-September, I love to start teaching Halloween pieces to the younger students. I have them work on sheet music, or solo books and plan a Halloween party where students will come in costume and play for each other, play games, and have treats. It is a fun, informal first get-together of the school year. Here are some of my favorite Halloween materials for younger students.
